Product Description

An oil bath is a special laboratory tool that is significantly employed in a variety of scientific and industrial applications most importantly for warming up samples or other substances and maintaining a constant temperature. It also entails using an external heat source to heat a container or vessel that is filled with a certain kind of oil, (mostly silicone oil or mineral oil), to the necessary temperature. Working with oil baths requires extreme caution because the oil can heat up quickly and cause burns. When utilizing them in the laboratory or in the workplace, safety precautions should always be taken, such as wearing the proper personal protective equipment and handling tools. 

Double walled, Full S.S.304 construction, Fully argon welded, The Oil bath accommodates 20 Ltrs RB Flask or similar vessel. Temp range 50 Degree Celsius to 300 Degree Celsius, controlled by Digital Temperature controller. Heaters placed in such a way that, it provides clear bottom for placement of flask. Working on 230 Volts AC single Phase.

• Laboratory high temperature heating applications
• Temperature sensor calibration also possible
